Laboratory of the pharmaco-technological research is a subdivision of the Pharmacy Management, Economics and Technology department of the I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University.
The laboratory was established to implement the University's policy to perform the recommendations and provide the Quality Standards of Higher Education in the European area.
The laboratory is guided by the Constitution of Ukraine, Laws of Ukraine "On Education", "On Higher Education", Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers "On Approval of the Procedure for Training Higher Education Applicants for the Degree of Philosophy and Doctor of Science in Higher Education (Scientific Institutions)", legislative, regulations governing pharmaceutical activities in Ukraine, the Statute of the University, orders of the Rector, the decision of the Academic Council of the University and Regulations.
The main purpose of the Laboratory is to perform pharmaco-technological research at the scientific, master's, PhD and doctoral theses performance; mastering and deepening the acquired practical skills, according to the list of competencies approved by the educational-professional program, which must be mastered by a specialist of the second (master's) level in specialty 226 "Pharmacy, Industrial Pharmacy" after graduation, and educational program 226 "Pharmacy, industrial pharmacy ", which must have a specialist in higher education - Doctor of Philosophy, field of knowledge 22 Health care after graduation.
The main tasks of the Laboratory are:
1. providing appropriate conditions for pharmaco-technological research in the performance of research work, as well as master's theses, PhD and doctoral dissertations;
2. raising the level of training of masters and doctors of philosophy in the specialty 226 "Pharmacy, Industrial Pharmacy" in accordance with modern requirements for pharmaceutical professionals in the labor market;
The main functions of the Laboratory are scientific and educational:
On the basis of the Laboratory students of higher education, Doctor of Philosophy and Doctor of Science, as well as teachers of the Department and the University (with the permission of the Head of the Department and the Head of the Laboratory) perform research of physicochemical, pharmacological and biopharmaceutical properties of herbal and animal raw materials and granules for the development of the composition and technology of various dosage forms, as well as the study of their quality indicators.
